Summer is here, and I wanted to send out a message to our members and players at Mustang Creek Golf Course. We have been blessed with much needed rain and we hope that pattern continues. Remember, for course irrigation, we receive no water from any municipal source. We rely solely on our pond system to hold rainwater. When droughts occur, we pay for municipal tap water to maintain our course. It is very expensive!
I have had more than a few messages about tee times being needed on Friday-Saturday and Sundays. Golf is popular. Being outdoors with your friends and family is also popular and fun. Because our golf course is much less expensive than our other area golf courses, we are busy. We ask that you call in your reservations or use our online tee sheet booking found on our new website… https://mustangcreekgolf.com
We also ask that you be kind and courteous and remember that golf etiquette is what separates us from other sports. Please respect the course, our staff and other players. I also ask that you not engage in “policing” other players. If you have a problem with someone who may be breaking our rules, please contact the pro shop (512-309-4045). At their earliest convenience, they will try to resolve the issue.
The following message is from Ronnie Kruse, our Board Member who oversees our course with the professional help of our Superintendent, Rogelio Denova and Marco…
“”Do not cut, step or drive over the course rope. If the rope is down don’t drive on fairway. No exceptions. Obey all signs. On days with cart path only, all 4 wheels need to be on the concrete path at all times. Do not block the cart path to #2/#11 hole. Hitting practice balls off of #6/15 tee box is prohibited. Violation of these rules may result in suspension of golf privileges. AFTER LAST YEARS DROUGHT AND THE DRY WINTER WE ARE TRYING TO REESTABLISH OUR FAIRWAYS. WE NEED EVERYONE'S HELP BY OBEYING THESE RULES””
You have probably noticed how clean our proshop is! We humbly ask that you help keep our areas around the proshop and inside clear of trash. We also wish Rusty Nelson a speedy recovery from recent surgery. We look forward to seeing him soon.
Please notice our upcoming schedule for June. Our City Championship is July 1st and 2nd.
One behalf of our stockholders, Board of Directors and staff, we sincerely appreciate your patronage of Mustang Creek Golf Course.

President
